6 tablespoons granulated sugar, white or brown
150 grams flour
100 grams butter
1 cinnamon stick
4 tsp cinnamon powder
Preheat oven to 180 C .
Peel, core and dice apples.
Butter a square deep, glass dish or an aluminum baking pan.
Put apples in a pan, along with half the sugar, half the cinnamon and one cinnamon stick.
Turn on the heat, cover with a lid and let it cook until apples are fairly soft.
Sift flour with remaining sugar add very cold butter cut into pieces and with tips of fingers, working very quickly until crumbly. Add in some Oats/Cornflakes/Museli, for an extra crunch – Optional
Distribute crumble evenly on top of apple mixture in dish/pan, leaving some spaces.
Bake for approx. 30-40 minutes or until brown and crunchy. Serve in same pan/dish.
